Mid-May 2016

Hi everyone,
These passed times I was getting a kind of war with the surround situation, life is not easy here. Anyway I managed to keep working with music, two more tracks were added to the Guitar Works preview, after all this time the "framework" of the album probably ends in nine tracks, eight of them are already finished in the compositional stage,
I left a last one to finish later, just to keep things fresh enough :) . If things go right, I would add two more tracks to the recorded set before mid year, so those interested keep in tune, specially at the facebook page, which by the moment is the place were I am posting first...

If we are lucky enough, things began to slowly move forward this time, when you reach the rock bottom then you have where to kick to change direction towards the surface and then stay afloat...

P.D.: Last march my cat Rita passed away, in an unexpected complication after a surgery. At home we're deeply saddened for her depart, we know she's in cat's heaven now... My present work would be dedicated to her. I left a pic from the times she was 4/5 months old, she lived 2 years but this one is pretty nice, she was in company of her human mother, Karina Flowers.

End of July 2015

Hi all,
I was working on my new set of songs, despite the matter that they are not songs in the traditional sense, I try to imbue them with a feeling of a song thing. Actually we (me and my partners in music) are very busy with the compositional process, so we have only two of the seven pieces on what we're working to show as a preview, here they are, in a very inaccurate form, but is what we have to show right now of the work called (provisory) "Guitar Works I":

May 2015 (Bis)

Hi again,
I was rechecking the recent posts and I fall in account that previously I was a little more personal than needed, while the idea of this blog is to be an extension of the website... So I decided to be more focused on music matters rather than in personal issues, everyone has them, and I think that this is not the place for them to voice out. Instead, I decided that my other blog, the one I have in Wordpress (in spanish, I'm sorry), would fill that matter, so if you like a more personal reading go there (you can do it through the links page on the site).

By the way, I also noticed that a sample of the most recent works is missing here, so I left one of the pieces on which we are working nowadays for the forthcoming album "Guitar Works I", I hope you enjoy it:
              
          
This is still in pre-demo phase, but it has the elements for having an idea of the musical direction we intended to follow at the moment. We scheduled this work for the next three months to have the final demo and also for live performing, these days we are rehearsing with a musician mate in order to develop a two guitars live set. More news soon.

Hi!
Here I left a preview of the pre-demo of "Life Impressions", despite we are working on "Guitar Works I", we try anyway to put this work afloat, as well as we get more studio hours available for work on it. Sorry for the typical incorrections of an unfinished work :)

Hi all,
Some changes in the last times, all things related to the band, Zona del Punto sin Retorno (Point of No Return Zone), since now are focused on its blog: http://zonadelpuntosinretorno.blogspot.com.ar/, here (in this blog) we return to send the feedback from my own endeavours, this way everything is going to be clearer and put everything in the right perspective...

Actually I'm working (together with those who are helping me) on a new work, actually named "Guitar Works I", just to be honest with the nature of the music on it. Having about 40' of music is just a matter of create one or two more songs to complete the concept, which is pointed to make music in a live situation, along with other stuff from "Life Impressions" (that is more a studio compilation work), with the company of some guest musicians for a better stage performance.

Something that some people ask me is how long it will be delayed our bandcamp profile with the definitive mixes and sounds (my own or with the band). Well, the answer to that is when we were able to enter a studio and finish the actual recordings and make some tracks certain needed polishing work...

...And that have no date by now, on a side we have legal struggle to get something needed from our former employer, and in the other we are facing rude times at our present living place, mostly outside the music world, so if our efforts are successful, probably we are on our way to do that studio works within this semester, I hope with all my heart that the best of possibilities finally concretes in the facts.

Meanwhile, we are keep working on the music, and if the opportunity comes, we'll be showing our stuff someplace around B.A., we're putting our kudos on that.

Hi!
Well, good news on the horizon: We replace the .com site for a .tk, from which we trigger (when avalible) the .com site. We are working on a entire redesign for the .com site, which will be dedicated only for commercial matters, it means that we left the old site and its content in the now available . tk site, which can be accesed right form here through the link in the upper right. This way this blog is entirely functional with the site, as it was in the past, and we start to write updates in a more regular way, just as we did before, here.

On the music side, we are still working with the demo for the band, and soon a BancCamp profile will be available for hear and download the music, we are now in collaboration with more people in order to do this, which is a new step in our way to promote our music, and it helps in closing gaps between the composing and rehearsal stage in which we are actually and the band's live presentations and perfomances.

Anyway the site also will be updated, as well as time and economy stays in our side, we try to improve it as much as we can, so we try to provide more multimedia for a better experience and more gemeral browser compatibility, we try to make it work right on any one of them, actually it has some lacks on certain browsers, due to the fact that it was wrtitten in just plain html and doesn't have any css or java (we reduce javascript to the minimum on purpose), maybe flash will help for that in the future...

Hi everybody,

Eleven months passed since my last post here. I wasn't writing because I redirect all my news to my wordpress blog ( http://pupisenterprises.wordpress.com/ ), which is in spanish, and the music pages on Facebook (the ones for Puppy Bordiga and Zona del Punto sin Retorno).

I originally intended the use of this one as an extension of my website ( http://www.puppybordiga.com ), which is actually offline, and more or less since then (I mean my last post) I left it inactive, even I almost forgot Blogger... Great mistake! lots of things happens here, despite if one is involved on that or not.
I am evaluating the possibility of changing the language here into spanish too, and put this one in sync with the other blog, because I have not a certain date to the reload of the site, it was originally planned for September, but it depends on too much external factors to have the sureness for count with it.

The overall idea of the blog was always to interact with anyone interested in my music projects and also for general exchange of ideas, making appropiate use of the enormous Google advantages of having all the web services in one place, i.e.: if you look something that you like here, you can go to Google+ and start a hangout there, and viceversa, the same for myself...
So due to the generic use of the blog, I think it's time to say a few words on me:
I am now 54, so I'm not a child, the following lines are just to make clear to everybody how things are going on and put some light on certain matters...

My personal life can't be more complicated than in present days, it's a fact that only a few of my very close friends and my family knows, everything that any other person thinks that knows and/or speak about it outside that group is just gossip. But I'm decided long time ago to make the necessary efforts to keep the projects alive and afloat, despite the stupid ideas that some people may have about them.
Probably all that gossip starts on the generalized idea that most people have about each other: Once they have one person labeled on a task or job they can't change their minds for including that person doing something else, no matter that "new" habilty in fact were always there in the background or in a second stage.

The real thing is that I have to do everything in my knowledge to survive, from PC repairs and other IT jobs to let go some of my personal stuff, including to sell things that I've recollected through the years, things that finally and already do its part in my past...
Until the end of 2012 I use to have a certain normality in my way of life, and because of that most people still thinks that I am on a more relaxed position, but for their knowledge: I was never rich, things or money never overflow in my life... If I learn something from my elders was to carry on an attitude in life that enhace harmony and dignity, and maybe that makes some confusion in their minds.

Anyway, this state of things is not endless. At the same time that I do my best for the day-by-day living, also I am (together with other 40 persons and their families) in the list of a compensation for the time worked at the factory, where I used to have my former employment, once the bankruptcy trial has ended, and since I was 21 years there it's not a small number...
As I'm not alone in my music efforts, and things are moving so fast now, if that number comes on, it will not change me, I mean my mind, or my way of life, or the scope of my views, it just will be a hand to settle all the projects and have some rest at last, just that.

Now a little on the music:
I'm glad to say that I'm actually in one of the best creative moments I ever had! No matter that in my band now we are four since my partner and fellow guitarrist Fernando is no longer in the band, his departure generates the opposite effect than in most of musical groups, the fact that we were forced to re-arrange all the music for the new quartet fomation was the trigger of a chain of  wonderful developments in the remaing members, to the point that I can seriously say that a new band is out!

Check for news (in spanish) in the wordpress blog, through the link included above, we are totally excited about what's coming out in the rehearsals, and nowadays we are working in our first "definitive edition" demo, so we're expecting to hit the road for middle September, if things go the right way...


I hope this message as long (a little compensation for the time spent out), will give the potential (or not)  readers an accurate image of the past, present and upcoming events in this small world.
